Gender Prediction Thread

so, i was thinking we should do one of these! especially since a lot of mamas will probably be founding out the gender via ultrasound soon. i'll even do the record-keeping.

here's how it works:

everyone just post what you think your baby is: boy, girl, or i-don't-know. i'll start a tally, and then when you find out the gender or when baby is born, i'll update and we can see how right on or off our intuition is!

ETA: if you change your mind and want me to update your prediction, make a new post, i may not notice it if you edit your original post!

Based on nothing at all except hunches, which I normally put no stock whatsoever into. But there we go.

But because we already have two girls and I thought my second was a boy, I'll probably be wrong.

I have had all the opposite issues/symptoms that I did with my son... of course that could mean nothing but that is just my feeling for now. I'm going to be finding out via ultrasound later next month.

BUT I think that's because I only have only been through a full pregnancy with a girl and it's hard to imagine anything else. That's really it, it could be wishful thinking but I would never admit that.

I also want to say that as soon as I got a bfp with DD I just knew. Not this time!

I'm guessing boy.

I have no clue and I go back and forth between "its a boy!" and "it's a girl!" Obviously, I am having a boy day. This is weird for me though.. I knew what DD and DS were before the ultrasound. This one, no set feeling.

I'm not finding out the sex either, so we will have to wait until baby's birthday to know for sure.

Girl. Absolutely no good reason for this guess, other than my mom's pretty good at guessing this stuff and she says girl.

I haven't had any dreams yet, which accurately predicted DD was a girl. Friends have researched Farmers Almanac/moon cycles and are also predicting boy.

I'm guessing Girl. I only think this becuase with DS I had no morning sickness at all and this time I'm sick morning, noon and night. also, I've had a lot of headaches this time and my boobs hurt like crazy and I didn't have any of those symptoms with DS so my guess is girl

hoping girl!! we have to even out the odds around here!! my extremely scientific hunch is based upon dreams, including her name. we shall see!

I'm going to say girl, even though my symptoms are different because I already have two girls. I am hoping for a boy though just so DP isn't so outnumbered!

I'm feeling boy. No reason, it's just a hunch I've had. From the time I got my BFP I've referred to the baby as "he"....And this is my first so I'm new to the whole mother's intuition thing and have no idea if I can trust my hunches or not.

I'm scared to guess because i was honestly positive that DD was a boy and, well, she wasn't

Maybe i'll guess boy again...? old wives tales and Chinese calendar say it's a boy... so does my mom and brother (and they were right last time) and this pregnancy is different from my last so maybe that's a sign. But i don't have a strong hunch or gut feeling (not like i could trust it if i did!) and won't know until the baby is born

I had a dream we were having a girl. My son is also calling the baby "baby girl" (he's two and we didn't prompt him to say it)

Girl. Just a guess, an educated one maybe, but only a guess. Won't know until July, but I did dream of getting one of the gender prediciton kits at the drugstore and it said boy. Hmmm.
