not sure where I was referred to this wonderful resource, but a behavioural & developmental paediatrician sounds exactly what I am looking for for my son. we are the UK however and I cannot find anyone similar so I thought I would contact the paediatrician Susan Johnson to see if she could recommend anyone, but there is no e-mail address on the website for her and I cannot find one on google either. Could anyone help me out by providing me with an e-mail address for her please? I would be really grateful. the website is: http://www.youandyourchildshealth.org/index.html
thank you everyone.

Try looking at developmental ped's professional societies....that might help you find someone.

These are in the US, but could be a start:

thank you for those links mrsfru - I found Susan Johnson on the first link, but still no e-mail contact sadly. I have found a couple of paediatricians in this field in London, but I am not warmed to them at all - one of them had a case study of helping the mother of a 7 month old baby get the baby to sleep through the night - the paediatrician advocated leaving the baby to cry (all night if necessary) and said that no babies required feeding at night after 5 months old! I was shocked! Susan Johnson's approach sounds so much gentler and respectful of the child. So if anyone else has her contact details I would be really grateful.
