Not pumping very much from one breast

Baby is 3.5 months old. I've pumped about twice per week while I'm at work, otherwise she eats straight from the breast. Usually when I pump, I get around 3-4 oz but today I only got 2 oz from the one side and that was really stretching it. I had to do breast massage and pump extra long to get that much. I only pump from one side since I'm only away from her for one feeding so I don't know how much the other side would have produced. I know the side I did pump from usually doesn't produce quite as much, but this seems pretty decreased.

Could it be that the baby eating would have gotten more milk than 2 oz or would she get pretty much equivalent to what I pumped? Does this seem like something I should be concerned about?

A baby will always get more milk than what the pump shows. There are women that produce fat, roly poly babies and never get a drop out with a pump. I would suggest pumping both sides at once to produce more milk.

I definatly think the baby is able to get more out than a pump ever can. I also always get about an ounce more from my left side than I do the right, I think it's normal for one side to be a bigger producer.
