Help me find a middle name for my son

Hello,

I am new to the forums and I am looking for some suggestions for a middle name for my son. His first name is a family name. We have waited to give him a middle name so we can give him something we feel really suits him. I just can't seem to find the right one!

I'm looking for a name that sounds happy and joyful. If my son was a girl, I would have his middle name be something like Joy or Summer. I haven't been able to find an equivalent in a boy's name. I have considered Julian, but my husband thinks it sounds a little feminine (no offense to other parents of Julians. I think it's because he once had a girlfriend named Julia).

I also like nature names like River, but I don't know if that really fits him. I am open to names in different languages.

Any suggestions for some joyful sounding boy names??

also come to mind. What's the first name, how many syllables is the last name and what's the first letter/sound of the last name?

I love Michael and Wyatt. If we had a boy we were going to name him Wyatt.

The first name is Sebastian. The last name is one syllable and begins with the letter L.

Just wanted to vote for Asher - it means happy boy in Hebrew... I wanted to name my son Asher but my husband was dead against it since I had had a pet named Asher. We went for Seamus.

Have you looked at odd colour names for inspiration? Sienna is a pretty girls names... and we're looking at Bianca for a girl...thought perhaps there may be boy 'happy' colours out there
