really need some homeopathy advice? please

so we are very new to homeopathy and i have many question, i am going to call our practinioner tomorrow and try to get some answers he was a little vague with the instructions of adminstering these remedies.

for my DD's cough he gave us KALI CARBONICUM 2 pills every 2 hours
and for nasal congestion he gave Kali Bichromicum . 2 pills every 2 hours
and a cough syrup. 2 teaspoons every two hours

now do we take all three togther, (pop them into our mouths at the same time)or do i need to space them out.

so far i only gave my kids the kali carb, but after reading an article on the net i see it says not to give with a fever well my kids are running slight fevers and i already gave it to them, our practioner never said not to give if fever was there. do i need to worry?

i could really use a little help with all these questions, please. thank you

I wish I could help with the specifics, but I am new at this too. THere is an acute homeopathy thread that is active with really knowledgable mamas. I just bumped it with some comments, so I would write there.

From my understanding, usually you take remedies separately, maybe 30 minutes apart. I actually wanted to write about this anyway, because it would be easier to do it all at one time. And, there are the boiron multi remedies that you take at the same time. It would be great to get some feedback from someone who knows.

remedies should be given 30 minutes apart and also at least 20 min (before and after) away from food or drink (asides from water). My ND has never told me not to take remedies if I have a fever. If a fever is one of the sxs the remedy is treating, that usually goes into paitning the picture of the patient so a correct remedy can be chosen.

i cant find the homeopathy thread , i really would like to get some advice
cant you point me in the right direction before i cave.

my DD is really hacking and having a hard time getting the mucus up, i feel myself wanted to call her ped to get her on an antibiotic, i am very upset and not sure what to do. this is going on 7 days now.

I ask because once every two hours seems like a lot.

How many times have you given Kali Bi?

The first remedy I ever tried was Nat Mur, the second was Kali Bi. The first time I ever gave a remedy to my youngest (can't remeber if it was Kali bi or nat mur) I gave him some every couple of hours. As the day went on he got worse and worse. His throat got really cloggy and he had a hard time coughing it up. He was a total snot factory. I finally realized I caused a proving. Which is kind of the extreme symptoms of the remedy you are taking. I stopped giving him it and eventually- maybe 6-8 hours he improved.

I'm not sure if that is what you are going through. But if you have given her these remedies multiple times today and you are not seeing an improvement I would stop for now and contact your practitioner.
