BF after breast reduction book, help I forget!

I have a friend who is due with her second baby. She had a reduction surgery about 6 years ago and they did not do a pretty job, they also severed some ducts. She did lactate but didn't have the proper support to carry on too far. She is very excited to try again and is 5 months and is so proud to have colostrum. I remember when she had her last baby I had found a very highly recommended book here on the boars but don't remember what it is. Does anybody have any ideas of a confidence building book that can help her reach her goals? I'd really like to buy it for her after she has read the Womanly art of breastfeeding.

It might be, but if there are any others that come to mind I'd be happy to hear

The book is called Making More Milk. I forget who the author is. Incredibly valuable info! I highly reccomend it.

I second DEFINING YOUR OWN SUCCESS.

Both are EXCELLENT books. Defining Your Own Success helps with coming to terms with what you can provide. Making More Milk can help you make more milk. I highly recommend MOBI Motherhood, as well (not a book, but a website). The website is http://www.mobimotherhood.org/MM/default.aspx. They also have a yahoo group with fantastically knowledgeable, non-judgemental, helpful people that your friend can join.

I think "Making More Milk" is fabulous. She should have both, IMO!

I have to admit I have some reservations about "Defining Your Own Success". I recently worked with a mom who read this and interpreted it in such a way that she set such low expectations for herself that she did a lot of self-sabotage in the early weeks, so much so that it was ultimately insurmountable.

Just to put it out there.
