Fish Oil question

Thread Starter
My good friend just learned she's pregnant, and I told her I would ask you wise women what you know about these fish oil ingredients:
The one she is looking at is EPA/DHA Fish Oil(Mercury Free), Organic Flaxseed Oil, and Borage Seed Oil. Any reason the flaxseed or borage might not be good during pregnancy?

Thanks all!!

Flaxseed oil is safe. Borage seed oil is not supposed to be used during pregnancy since the gamma-linolenic acid(GLA) it contains increases production of prostaglandin E. Basically it's a uterine stimulant so could potentionally cause contractions.

I just read a great and easy to understand article about fish oil on my chiropractor's blog.http://backpainandpregnancy.blogspot...back-pain.html
It explains what is good to take and why. Hope that helps!
