My 8 month old daughter has low iron levels - just barely below the range her doctor feels she should have. I'm considering using Floradix or blackstrap molasses, since I've used them for myself. I'm just not sure if either is a good choice for an infant. Any thoughts or suggestions, Mamas?

I would go with a multi vitamin since studies have also shown the importance of Vitamin D for children. See link to news on this topic below.

Polyvisol with iron in a liquid is what I'm using, and was recommended by the pediatrician.
I buy it at Walmart for just about $8 and it has 40 doses. I give half the dose (.5ml) in the morning and the other half in the evening. I think most drugstores carry it as well.
