Broken DC adaptor jack

We have a portable dvd player that hasn't been working for a while. I was looking at it today, and the little pin inside the plug for the power adaptor was leaning sideways. I opened the back up a bit to try and get a closer look, and the pin fell out. Is there an easy way to fix this? Can I go and get a new jack and just replace it? Are they standard sizes, or would something like a dvd player have its own and I could only get a replacement part from the company?

It should be very easy to replace, check out an electronics shop. Radio shack used to have lots of stuff like this but "The source" doesn't seem to... Do you have a computer repair place nearby? We have a small town store that carries parts for stuff like this. DH usually gets stuff from an electronics supply shop, but they recently switched to wholesale only so he can get it through work.

Ah, we have a the source that used to be a radioshack nearby... maybe I'll try there first before I try going in to the city, just in case. Thanks!

It's a very standard size, just make sure that the voltage is the same. Also, Best Buy sells (at least did about a year ago) an adapter "set" where you can select the voltage AND the adapter plugs are interchangable to different sizes. That one ran around $25, the others are less.
