Teething help

What has everyone found to be the most help with teething at nighttime to help their LO sleep better? Or is it just a wait it out thing? Our 5 month DD isn't sleeping well, and I'm starting to think it may be teething, but the Hyland's tablets and baby Tylenol don't seem to work all that well... We're 100% sleep deprived and need help!

Someone from my AP group just told me the other day that they use a homemade clove "paste" She grinds up cloves and mixes a little olive oil into it to make a paste and spreads a little on his gums. Her son is about a year, but she says it works wonderfully. We use an amber necklace here, but I don't think she's started teething too much yet. I'm gonna try the clove thing when/if my dd starts indicating pain. Good luck mama!

Well some may frown, but baby Motrin(or ibuprofen) work wonders, my kiddos get really inflamed gums and that's been the only thing that helped, especially when combined with Hyland's.
