Bamboo

I've heard bamboo is a stay dry material and I was wondering if that was true. Does it work all night? I've also heard it doesn't hold smell, anyone find that it's true?

I'm looking for a stay dry material for the night that won't stink when we get up after 12 hours.

We use bamboo sometimes and it is absorbant, not too stinky. But it is not stay dry, like microfleece would be...
