t-shirt binding, rib knit?

OK, so what do you call this stuff? The binding for t-shirts. Or like the binding used on MEOS cloth diapers.

I see they have stuff on sale at fabrics.com, but there are a million varieties and I can't tell which is the stuff I want.

I see cotton rib knit, 2x1 rib knit, baby rib knit.

I think I want 1x1, right? I Just want to make sure I don't end up with like tank-top material. I want to use it for binding.

You'd want a 1x1 or a baby rib, most likely.
