Quick- severe thunderstorms; are my chickens going to be okay?

I have five chickens in a small coop that only has one solid wall (it's made out of shipping pallets and covered with hardware cloth; the only solid "wall" is the door). We're getting sever thunderstorms here (it just finished hailing). Some of our surrounding counties are on tornado watch, but not the county that we're in.

Do I need to worry about my chickens? I know they're not stupid; will they take shelter where they need to?

Mine have always quickly run for cover and been fine. I hope yours are, too.
