When did your baby start enjoying massage?

My little guy is 2 1/2 mos (one month adjusted age). When he's very relaxed, say after a bath, he'll let you massage him for a few minutes, but he tends to look kind of wide-eyed the entire time. Not like it's uncomfortable, but not exactly like he's enjoying it, either. I only give it a try every few days, but it's fun, and I'd like to do it more often.

If your baby enjoys regular massage now, when did that start? Any tips to help my fellow start to enjoy a rubdown?

Each baby is going to be different.. My DS never really cared to be massaged and he still doesn't like being rubbed or overly touched at 6yo. Then my DD has always kind of liked it from the beginning. If your baby likes it and gets something out of it, then do it. Otherwise, don't worry about it. All your baby really needs is to be held a lot.

My little one just started liking it a few weeks ago and she's 20 weeks

Never. Neither likes people in their space, unwelcomed. Dd is now 5 and will only let me massage her legs when she's having leg cramps/growing pains. Ds, almost 3, runs away from you if you even try.
