every time i've been pregnant i've been totally convinced that i was NOT pregnant that particular cycle.. this pregnancy i just tested to confirm that i was not pregnant so i wouldn't be all obsessive as i waited for AF...

I started out this cycle in November deciding I would not get pregnant yet (though my LMP is early December lol... I started getting my feelings in November)

I saw a lot of signs that it would happen but still felt like it wouldn't. Everyone else thought it would... I really did not think so.

At 5dpo I started feeling a bit of nausea... Like, I felt constantly like I had recently eaten too much... even when I was starving.

I kept shrugging it off... even had some nice white wine in my TWW because I just KNEW I wasnt pregnant (though I already had the nausea at that point)

8dpo I started having blood every time I blew my nose but... its winter and the airs dry you know? Still convinced I wasnt pregnant. However, I did start questioning if maybe... so I made DF buy me a pack of FRERs (a 2 pack... i had 50 tests at home but he wouldnt let me take any on the trip with me)

tested at 9dpo... BFN, snow white

tested at 10dpo... BFN, snow white

So I was pretty convinced at that point that I was not pregnant.

11dpo I got home from the trip and took one of my 50 tests, figured I could test every time I pee since they were good cheap tests... so I did so.

11dpo tests looked like evaps

12dpo tests looked like evaps... but slightly darker... until the night of 12dpo when I got one that was visibly pink...

13dpo I took a FRER and got an EXTREMELY faint, but very much there, 2nd line... 14dpo the same... 14dpo I believe is when I finally called DF to tell him!

I was so convinced this time around though that I wasnt going to get pregnant... that I was not the least bit heartbroken over BFNs

but I was skeptical over the BFMs

and extremely surprised over the BFPs!

My cycles have never been regular, so missing a period was never a sign, because I never knew when to expect one...my first was a completely unplanned surprise, but my other 3 have all been planned.

With my first, I was in the car on the way home with friends from a weekend out of town. I remember being slouched down in my seat, feeling awful, really wanting to just pass out or something. I suddenly thought to myself "oh s***, I'm pregnant!", then I went to sleep for the rest of the ride. Positive test the next day.

With my second, we were trying, and I was charting, so I knew right away when my temperature stayed up instead of dropping back down. A test confirmed a week or so later.

With my third, I was temping, but only long enough to pinpoint ovulation, and then I stopped. I had stayed over at my grandma's house 2 nights to help her get settled back in after a hospital stay. My husband came to get me and on the ride home I just didn't feel "right". We stopped on the way home and got a test, and it was positive.

This time, I wasn't charting or anything, but I knew when I ovulated because I had wicked O pains. I don't remember exactly when I started testing, but the first 2 or 3 tests were negative, before I finally got the faintest positive.

The one sign that has been consistent with each pregnancy is right around 5 or 6 weeks, I have a few nights of insomnia, and then it's gone. This is true whether I already know I'm pregnant or not.

With my first pregnancy I was at a friend's Bomba class. It's a Puerto Rican dance that's really heavy on the drums. As I was literally 'going with the beat' I felt/'saw' a tiny orb of white light land on the left side of my uterus. I *knew* then I was pregnant. Had implantation/burrowing pains too for a while afterwards. U/S confirmed where Joseph had implanted.

With my second pregnancy, we weren't trying at all. But I kept feeling 'weird', like thinking 'oh, I'm pregnant' followed by 'um, NO!". I had just lost Joseph a month and a half before, and we had a broken condom at the 'wrong time' of the month and took two 'early' pregnancy tests that were negative. Waited 3 weeks, retested. Misread the test as being negative (thought it was a + test when it was just a line test). Had the odd 'burrowing/implantation pain that just had me thinking something was off. Had the oddest dream that night that I peed on a weird looking spoon/test thing. The first answer was a negative, the second positive. Took a test the next day. Read it right that time! lol U/S confirmed that I was right about where ds2 implanted--front of the uterus, towards the left side.

This time, I just *felt* 'off'. I felt like I was going to be pregnant, but not wanting to jinx it, I didn't say much. I started getting wicked morning sickness 2 weeks ago. Then last week started feeling the implantation /burrowing pain. It's unlike other pain--very localized and 'deep'. Anyways, I started testing last week. Finally got a light positive yesterday. However, dh didn't believe it (he said he couldn't really 'see' it). Got a digital one today--30 seconds later, yep I'm pregnant. I'm feeling weird though. I am feeling two different locations for the implantation. The right one is stronger and literally on the right side of my uterus. The other one is on the lower left side and isn't as strong. Hmmmmmmmm.

Woke up with the runs and nausea about a week after conception. A day later I started throwing up and never stopped. The nausea (and the shortness of breath during the run I took that day anyhow) suggested it, but the throwing up confirmed it. By 3-1/2 weeks I was throwing up 3x/day and it clearly wasn't from a stomach bug. DD's pregnancy was very similar.

Hmm...I guess I did just know, but I was in complete denial for a couple of days. lol It was June and hot, but I had a couple episodes of feeling like I was sooooooo overheated, just sitting inside my house. I also got weird sciatica pain a couple days before my period was late, which I'd only had during my pregnancy with DD, never any other time. However, with DD it only happened the last few weeks of the pregnancy, so I thought that couldn't possibly be a sign. I really don't know if it was related or not, but it did correlate with early pregnancy this time. I also had one episode of bad nausea, just driving down the road a couple days before I missed my period. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it was very out of the ordinary. I have 26-27 day cycles and had my IUD removed on either the 14th or 15th day, so I figured I was definitely too late to conceive when we dtd the two days following, which is why I felt like I couldn't possibly be pregnant. Well, that and it was so FAST!

1. Charting. I've charted off an on while TTC for a few years now, and I know that by day 13 if my temps are still high, I'm likely pregnant (usually they start going down on day 14, then AF on day 15). Charting has saved me sooooo much money on pregnancy tests! Strangely enough though, going triphasic is not a pregnancy predictor for me. Most of my cycles are triphasic.

2. Tiny amount of pink implantation blood on 7dpo

3. Restless sleep from 10dpo (which has continued into the first trimester)

I didn't have any other reliable symptoms until after my + test. In other cycles I'd had lots of peeing, or feelings of nausea, or sensitive boobs, but it was all PMS stuff. Not pregnancy.

The day before I got my positive test I looked down at my belly in the shower and thought, "Oh my God!!" It was way bigger, and it wasn't just the Christmas eating. I wasn't surprised the next morning when the second line appeared. This is my second pregnancy, though. For my first it was weeks before I noticed any difference in how my stomach looked.

I had a dream exactly 14 dpo that an angel came to our bedroom, delivered some blue onesies, and then left. Looking back that was kind of funny. In my dream I took a positive pregnancy test. Then I woke up and it was such an intense dream that I took a test knowing I wouldn't be able to get it out of my head. We weren't even kind of trying but I was pregnant, and ended up having a boy to go with the blue onesies!

I was about a week late for AF. I decided to hold off testing because we had an extremely busy week. DP was getting ready for a big show his band had on Dec 6th. I was pretty convinced I was pregnant, but I had had scares in the past months (a lot more of a scare than this particular month) and never turned up pregnant. So part of me still thought it could just be stress. My boobs were really soar, but I rationed that AF must be just around the corner. Then I started getting super tired, falling asleep way earlier than usual. But we had all been sick with H1N1 so I reasoned that away as well.

Well, the day after Dp's show we decided to go get a test. I left the house needing to pee. I stopped at every store around my house and none of them had tests So I had to drive to Target in south. It's not too far, but by the time I got there, got the test, stood in line, and purchased it oh man did I have to pee!!! So I ran right into the Target bathroom and POAS.....lol. It turned BFP RIGHT away!!! I mean the strongest, darkest BFP I've ever seen in my life. The pregnancy line was two times darker than any other line on the test. It was like the test was telling me, "There, now there is NO question that you ARE PREGNANT!!! You idiot!!!" hahaha

The rest is history. Took the test home and showed DP, and here we are. In retrospect, I knew right away that I was pregnant. That whole week was torture not testing, and I just knew what was to come.

At CD13 I had this heart racing feeling...like my heart was pumping a little faster and harder than normal, as if I'd had too much caffeine. I first noticed it at night, when I just couldn't sleep because I felt too awake, like I had been drinking coffee. I felt the same way in the morning. I remembered a friend who said she knew both times because her heart would go a little crazy (she has some sort of heart abnormality).....so I thought, "I wonder if I'm pregnant?" We were kinda trying but not trying...but I was charting. I had a dollar tree test in the house, so I just used it and was really surprised to see the 2nd line.....since quite a few cycles had passed where I had lots of other symptoms that I was sure were signs.

I got that last night but I have known for a few weeks I am pregnant... it is a sign in me as well, but only comes about after ive gotten the bfp.

For me it was a lack of AF symptoms.

The month of December I decided we were out. My husband got a stomach virus right around O time and we missed BDing. I found out later that I had Oed earlier than I thought. I just hadn't bothered to enter my temps in FF. Christmas Day I thought it would be neat to get a BFP so I tested just in case and got just one line. The next morning I was thinking, "I'm not cramping and AF is due tomorrow." I decided to test again and the line was sooooo faint I wan't sure it was there. Another test that afternoon also showed a verrrrry faint line. I wasn't convinced. The next day it was obvious. I took a digital and it read, "pregnant". I went back and entered my temps on FF and discovered that I really Oed earlier than I thought. We BDed right on O day and the day before. My OPKs had just misled me a little.

I felt some wiggly, squirmy, fluttery, contraction-y kind of feeling about 10dpo (was our first time trying, I was SURE I would not get pregnant yet). A warm feeling sort of overcame me and then I called my hubby to tell him that I probably shouldn't register for an intensive exercise class we were going to register for...not telling him why, I was still in denial (and at this point thinking I'd imagined what happened). The next day I had a bit of black-ish implantation bleeding, and that night my nipples BURNED so much it woke me up. The next AM I tested, looked like evap lines, but tested a few days in a row and watched the lines get darker and darker till I could no longer deny...

With my first, that ended in a miscarriage, I felt really sick. Took a test and BFP. With my son I had really sore breasts and extremely tired, took test, BFP. With this pregnancy I felt sick, and just knew.

I got my IUD out on Aug. 7 and was advised by MW to use condoms until I got my first AF... did not follow that advice exactly to the letter. About 2 weeks later I started to feel terrible... stuffy nose, exhausted, and terrible HEARTBURN (which I never get). I was also feeling really, really crampy. I was convinced I had a virus and was about to start AF. Took a Walmart pregnancy test on Aug. 28 -- neg. Took another Aug. 29 -- neg. Fished that one out of the trash a day later to *examine* it further and thought I saw a line, but figured it was an evap line. Waited another day and tested again Aug. 31 -- BFP!!!

I was pretty nervous about this pregnancy from the start because it happened SO FAST. I also felt like I had done something wrong by not following MW's advice about using birth control and was afraid something would be wrong with the baby because of it. Luckily, everything has been just fine!

Well, my first pregnancy had all the normal signs, morning sickness, sore breasts, food aversions, etc. (I never went through with that pregnancy but that's another story).

When I was pregnant with Ds, I didn't know until the 22nd week! I was never sick, breast felt great, I was on the pill regularly, my food cravings were normal, etc. I found out during a blood test that was taken for an unexplained week long headache/sinus infection. I was shocked, lol!

I've always had irregular or physically non-existent periods, so that isn't a reliable gauge for me.
