Mom's entering hospice

She's been battling cancer for almost three years. The palliative chemotherapy has stopped working. She went into the hospital on Friday with dehydration, and they've found an infection.

They are treating her with antibiotics, so theoretically she'll enter hospice in 10 days, when they stop antibiotics.

I am so sorry. My mom died of cancer on January 19th of this year. She also had an infection in her last days that seemed to take away the last of her fight and strength.

Do be gentle with yourself. Losing a mom is beyond words, it is so very devestating.
