Ideas needed

Hello! This year I am a Brownie leader for the Girl Scouts here in Japan. In February we have our Thinking Day activity--for the Japanese scouts and the American scouts here in Japan. The theme is "ending extreme poverty and hunger" and I need ideas for 150 "swaps"--small gifts for my girls to make. Brownies are 2nd and 3rd graders. I have no idea what to have them make. I was thinking about making some kind of pin. Any ideas would be great!!!! Thanks!

Is there any way the activity could be something like making food or toiletries packages for the needy? If it has to be something crafty, what about making seed paper with vegetable seeds?

I know several troops are doing something similar here. Let me ask my girlfriend for some suggestions & I will get back to you as soon as I hear from her.

what about beaded fishing lures? thinking along the lines of the "teach a man to fish" saying. i bet the girls would have a lot of fun making them. here are some examples from etsy:

i don't have a "how to" linke, but if you or another troop leader is familiar with beading / jewelry making, i'm sure you could figure it out.
