Finding local adoption info & resources

Is it appropriate to ask here for experiences, recs, etc. for adoption info local to me? For example, to ask what agencies people have used for private adoption and whether they liked them or not? To ask what their experiences have been fostering/adopting through the state system? [I'm in MD]
Or would that be better on my local tribe board?
Or not at all?

My husband and I have 2 boys who I adore, and I would love to have a little girl to "complete" our family. I'd like an infant, but I'm open to other options depending. Race isn't an issue for me, special needs would be a case by case basis. Open/closed is something I need to do more research and soul-searching about.

Thanks!

Does that mean 1) they weren't appropriate questions to ask, or 2) that I should ask in my local tribe forum?

Thanks!

For questions about fostering/adopting in your state, you should check out the message boards at fosterparents.com. It's a huge board and there will be several people from your state. If you go there, post your questions in the main Foster Parenting forum. It gets way more traffic.

Also look at adoption.com and those forums,
we're in California and it's been rpetty helpful in finding fairly relevant information.
