Someone recently told me that it's fine that my baby has the cord around her neck for now but it will become a problem once she drops and her head becomes engaged? Then, according to this person, the cord will get more tight.Does this make any sense to u?

And if yes, what should i do,ask to be induced or have C-S???No doctor will do this coz of nuchal cord !
I'm so panicking right now

Mama, I don't know about your situation specifically, but everyone I know (myself included) had a baby with a cord wrapped a couple times around the neck, all with safe and happy births. But I imagine there are many different scenarios, so I can't speak specifically for you...

About a quarter of all babies have a cord around the neck at birth... it's extremely rare for it to be serious, as far as I know...

DD had it over her shoulder, DS had it around his neck twice, both my kids were ok. The kid across the street had it around his neck once and didn't fare well, trouble walking, talking, not potty learned and such at 8 - I'm not sure what the dx is for him. It was too tight or something and he received brain damage.
