Ran across this article that Intact America posted on their Facebook page. It is regarding a new study finding "no demonstrable health benefit derived from circumcision of either newborns or adults."

I am curious as to whether this will get reported as much as the pro-circ HIV/AIDS Sub-Saharan Africa study.....I doubt it will

Just goes to show how strongly attitudes toward the practice of circumcision are affected by culture. Funny how Canadians and Australians (where circumcision used to be practiced widely, but now no longer is) can look at the same evidence as the AAP and CDC in the US, and come up with completely different conclusions! Seems the more familiar one becomes with having natural penises around, the less threatening they become.
