Tea Tree Oil for cleaning - Questions

I have read that tea tree oil is good for disinfecting. My son has been sick all winter and I want to wipe down all the cabinets/tables with something extra strong to get rid of all the germs. Right now, I use a vinegar and water solution. Can I just add a few drops of tea tree oil to that? Or should I just use water and tea tree oil by itself with no vinegar in it?

yes!

although if you want to do something "extra strong" you can also spray everything with vinegar and peroxide. not mixed. spray one, then the other. it doesn't matter which one is first and which is second, but the two are supposed to be as effective as bleach.

or, if you want to use your tto, but want your cleaning solution to be extra strong, you could also add a bit of borax.

Oooh! That's handy to know. Do you have to wipe the first one up before you spray the other, or can/should they be sprayed on top of each other?

Yes, I add TTO to my vinegar/ water mix in the bottle
