How to spin your previous HBs when interviewing and using a backup OB?

I would like to see an OB occasionally to get the tests, U/S, etc., but am nervous for them to ask me about previous births and when I answer, "HB," them kicking me out or being nasty or something. Has anyone done this and lied about previous births? Is there a way to pre-interview OBs and suss out if they'll be at least polite?

Does your mw have a backup OB? Last time I saw an Ob near me instead of my MW's backup and she tried to bully me every time and 'risk me out' of HBing. This time, I'm driving the hour to the MW's backup and she's been great.

Why not see a CNM for those tests? CNMs are generally more HB friendly and can order all the same tests OBs can. The CNM I see for gyno visits knows about my HB and thinks its great. She knows if I got pg again I'd HB in a heartbeat.

I don't think it will come up unless you bring it up.

OBs often have little sheets where you write down info about your previous births. They have spaces for gest. age, vag or c-sec, birthweight, pain meds, complications, and sometimes SROM or AROM. I have never filled one out that had location of birth or midwife vs OB questions. Maybe because they just assume it happened in the hospital.
