nursing patterns varry from child to child some will nurse more often but in shorter spurts others will naturally go longer by 6 months but nurse longer each secession others cluster feed at certain times and not at others (mine did this) litle nursinlings do go though a lot of diapers though soaking through 2 profolds every 30 mintues does seem like a lot though if hes fully nursing soo often I can see why.. Other than wanting to ensure there was no medical reason behind his eatting and wetting patterns such as diabetes ect (I'm diabetic and if my blood sugar is too high I pee like there is no tommorow and want water or ANY drink I can get my mouth on 24/7) I'd jsut say its how he is..

BTW I tended to change CD as wet that could mean every 30 mintues at time and as long as 2-3 hours depending but diapers were rarely soaked Unless getting up from a nap or in the morning...

My ds pees every 20 minutes certain times of the day. In the evening, he goes an hour or two. He doesn't pee much at one time, and I try to change after every pee, so we don't have leaks unless I'm using a pocket with a fleece inner.

I think that yesterday he went through 10-12 diapers, not including his nighttime diaper. He isn't a huge nurser, though. He easily goes 2+ hours between nursing (as long as he isn't sick or cranky), and only nurses for about 5-10 minutes at a time.

eta- ds is 6.5 mos old. In the last month, the number of times he pees has gone down. It was definitely more than 10 times a day a month ago!

My son did the same thing. He also nursed very frequently.
