bac-out how-to?

i finally ordered some bac-out... i thought it was just added to a load of diapers in the wash, but the bottle says to soak the diapers overnight.... what do i do? how much do i use?

I just spray poopy diapers with it as they go into the pail.

When they were exclusive bf poos, just sprayed and tossed into pail. Now we dribble or spray some on after rinsing, then toss into pail.

I have found that BacOut is really concentrated and works just as well if you cut it with some water. (money saving tip!!!)

On poopy dipes, I rinse out the poop and then squirt a little on the diaper. I do not do a soak in the diaper pail. That would be too heavy for me to carry down 2 flights to the laundry!! I love BacOut - most of my dipes look great and have no staining. I also make sure to strip them every so often.

I was wondering if the enzymes lead to build-up or if they rinse out ???

I used bac out for 2+ years w/o issue spraying on all the poopy diapers after rinsing them. I did eventually have build up something serious but I *THINK* it was cause' I switched detergents (from allens to ecos). After switching to planet detergent I haven't had any issues.
