Really horrible groin pain starting at only 14 weeks?

It hurts so bad. Especially if I sit for any amount of time, like to eat. Or stand for any amount of time, like to wash dishes. Or walk for any amount of time, like going to the store. But now it's not even going away in between, it's just not as bad, and I am not even quite 16 weeks!

Is this okay? It's a combination of pain just in the crease-ish area of my leg / crotch on my left side, and a lot of pain in my crotch, like all my organs are trying to fall out. I'm not sure whether or not the 2 are connected or just caused by the same sorts of things.

The "inside" pain is like that which I experienced for some time after DD was born, and with every period I have had since then. The "outside" pain started a couple weeks ago. I remember having something similar late in pregnancy with DD, but that felt more like a pinched nerve, and sometimes caused tingling as well or my leg to fall asleep. It was also something that I could reduce quickly by making baby move, or laying down on my other side.

This doesn't exactly feel like that, and nothing seems to make it less painful any faster. This is much worse, as well.. sometimes I cannot actually walk, each step sends such incredible pain through that crease / pubic bone area and through my crotch, which I am *sure* didn't happen with DD. Not that bad.

Any help, ideas? Should I be concerned, resigned? I am getting really worried that there is nothing that I can do and that it will get SO MUCH WORSE before baby is ready to come out. It just seems waaayy too early for this, I am confused how the little bean could possibly be big enough, even counting uterus/ bag of waters / extra blood to cause this. Ahh!

It's already been an issue for getting around / getting things done, especially with a toddler, and I run daycare out of my home to boot. I don't know what to do if it gets worse!

I had a similar problem very early on this pregnancy (but didn't at all with my first dd). For me, it's not spd, which also hurts, but I ended up with varicose veins. I wish I would have known that's what was going on beforehand because I would have taken more preventative measures early on rather than waiting. I asked my midwife about it and she suggested it might just be spd. For me, it just feels like a lot of pelvic pressure. The good thing is that the pain has stayed constant but hasn't gotten that much worse. I'm only 30 weeks though, so there's still time for it to get even worse.

I had a good amount of pain in the crease of my legs when I was around where you were. That pain is ligament pain. You can try stretching it a little if you can bare to. It would only hurt for like a week or so before going away for a while. But it comes back from time to time. It's not SPD because that is actually felt on your pubic bone not in the crease of your leg.

The inside pain sounds similar to what I had a few weeks ago. It felt to me like cramping from AF but it was really down low. I think it was from the baby growing and putting pressure on my cervix. It went away after a few days. IDK if yours is the same though.

In and case I hope you feel better soon!

try a calcium/magnesium supplement. That is supposed to help leg cramps, so it could help your ligaments.

what are you craving?

I did see the Chiro yesterday, and he said it was my pelvic alignment, and did an adjustment. So far... I think it was a little better for an hour or so. Maybe. He has me coming back in on Monday, though, so hopefully I'll see a little more progress.

It's already gone on for a couple weeks, and so far it's only getting worse, so I can hope it goes away but I am not really feeling like that will happen It doesn't really feel like cramping, but maybe I could try some calcium magnesium anyway. It can't hurt, right? It does seem to radiate from the crease in my leg, to over my pubic bone and down my leg some, especially when I try walking on it.

As for the inside pain, it definitely doesn't feel like AF cramping, it feels like really bad cervical pain, and it has been going on for a month and a half or so now. I am not sure what to make of it at all.

It's all so frustrating! Can I admit that what I am scared of the most is that, between these and the severe nausea / vomiting I have had (which still isn't gone, but atleast usually limited to morning now) that my husband will say there's no way we can have another baby? Even right now I still really want to have another
