Oh wow. This is a hard one. There are so many good resources, it is hard to pick one.
I started with NVIC.org where the focus is more on informed consent and respect for biodiversity. It is there that I learned that certain people are more genetically predisposed to vaccine reactions and it is there that my desire to learn more was ignited.
Another good website: Homefirst.com where they have vaccine webinars (with many different experts speaking on the issue) that are archived and ready to be listened to. Dr. Eisenstein has a practice of 30,000 or so who are unvaccinated/ minimally vaccinated with virtually no Autism and minimal chronic disease like asthma. Very compelling.
As far as books...if they are pretty set on vaccinating but just don't want to do it according to the AAP's schedule or perhaps really want to selectively vaccinate, then Dr. Sears The Vaccine Book would be good.
If they are seriously considering the safety and have perhaps been injured by a vaccine themselves then I would recommend Neil Z. Miller's "Vaccines: Are They Really Safe and Effective". Anyone who reads this book will indeed question vaccine safety and effectiveness when finished. It is a short book and quick read. Highly recommend it though I haven't finished it yet (I just got it)
Also...lifehealthchoices.com is an AWESOME place for people to start. I believe there is even an icon that says.."Overwhelmed? Click here for some good tips". It is very educational and helps people to learn how much they really don't know about vaccines (there is a quiz that is fun to take and very educational). This site also gets into what other countries do in comparison to ours, which is very informative. It really is a GREAT place to start and not too overwhelming to the newbie. I HIGHLY recommend it.
I hope that helps. How awesome that you want provide resources for parents who want to look into this issue.
