Liverwurst Recipe?

I've recently re-discovered liverwurst and come to find out, DS likes it too! I was wondering if anyone has a recipe so that I can use the beef liver in my freezer to make my own. I've heard through the grapevine that this liver is especially gamey so I'm unlikely to eat it without some serious spice enhancement.

Any and all recipes welcome!

Liverwurst is traditionally made with pork liver, so I'm not sure if using beef liver would alter the taste or not. But I'll be watching. So far, dh has no problem eating liverwurst, but is balking at beef liver.

What do you do with it? Is it like pate?

It is a pate...I usually spread it on buttered toast...it's the way I used to eat it as a kid. I didn't think about how different it might taste made from Beef liver as opposed to Pork...anyone else ever tasted both? Please report!

This is the recipe for beef liver pate I have used many times for our beef liver. I think it's fantastic, creamy, livery, but not too livery. I make a bunch of ramekins full and freeze most of them. They're really nice to have to pull out for a snack or to take to a party. Not liverwurst, granted.
