VitD/Calc. supplement for preteen?

Hello. It was recently reccomended that my pre-teen dd take vit D/Calcium supplements, something along the lines of Viactive, I think it's called. She is not a milk drinker, but does do some yougurt, leafy greens. It's a little hit or miss these days, though.

Any pros/cons or other words of wisdom regarding this?

I don't know anything about viactive so can't help you there. I totally agrre that your DD take D so many are deficient. for D I like carlsons vit D drops get it cheapest at vita cost. I don't know much about Calcium supps though. I would imagine for a supp natural calm mag/cal would be best Also have you considered fermented cod liver oil? That's such a great thing for all to take
