Lasik (sorry didn't know where to put this) - Page 2

Update!

So everything went great! I found the suction deally pretty uncomfortable, (which might not have been as bad if I didn't have the "prominant eyebrows" (by which I'm sure he meant the bone, not the hair) as the doc so lovingly put it lol ) and I did have the "smoke in your eyes" feeling for about 2 hours afterward. But I feel great now! I took a 2 hour nap and woke up feeling great. At my follow up appt the next day, they said I have 20/20 vision!
I can't wait to be done with these drops, and wearing sunglasses outside. Then it'll be total freedom!!

I've already had it several times today where I said to myself "ok, better take out my contacts soon... oh wait!! )

I got Lasik this summer and for ME it did hurt. A lot. A lot, a lot, a lot. And I do have horrid night vision now.

BUT. It was worth it. My eyes were so bad before that anything is good.

Except, not even a year after getting it done my vision is already noticeably worse than it was. It was corrected to slightly better than 20/20 and now it's.. well I haven't gone lately but the things I was able to see once I got it done (like book titles from my desk) I can no longer see. I hope it gets better again because if my eyes just keep getting worse even with serious surgery I'm seriously worried about going blind at some point. And heck, I'm not even 30...
