Cetaphil Cleanser: Natural Alternatives?

Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations for natural products that are similar to Cetaphil cleanser? I have been using Cetaphil products for years on the advice of my dermatologist. Basically, I have super, super sensitive skin, especially on my face, and Cetaphil has been the only face/body wash that I do not react to - natural or otherwise. However, it is chock full o' parabens and such.

I think I have found a replacement moisturizer, but still looking for cleanser. Anyone have any thoughts on a gentle, natural, non-drying cleanser for super sensitive skin, similar to Cetaphil, that I can use on face and body?

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks so much!

P.S. Castile soap is out too. It stings.

Have you tried straight olive oil?

Also, you might want to do an olive oil soap for your body. And straight on your face. I like the Kiss My Face olive oil soap.

I like the coconut cleanser from Ann Webb skin care. It may be a Whole Foods exclusive, so you'd have to find it there.

I've wondered about this too. None of the natural ones I've tried are anything like Cetaphil.

FWIW, about a month ago I started using only water on my face and so far so good! Better than the Cetaphil I think, but I wonder if it will be enough in the summer.

I'm curious to know what moisturizer you switched to.

So far I like Kiss My Face olive & aloe fragrance free ultra moisturizer. I also liked Clinique moisturizers but they are expensive and, I suspect, not so natural.

Same here, I have pretty much just used water and I am fine so far. In fact, a coworker today told me that my skin was glowing I still use my Cetaphil moisturizer though But I am going to check in to some alternatives.

I recently tried Beauty Without Cruelty face cleanser and it was very nice!

I use the Kiss My Face Olive Oil Soap Bar. It can sting if you get it in your eyes, though, so be careful. Formerly I used Cetaphil, Basis, or Dan Kern's stuff.

For moisturizer, I use pure jojoba oil at night, and am still looking for a good daytime, under mineral makeup moisturizer.
