As an update to that post, I started meds last night, they didn't help at all. I'm really frustrated, it is keeping me up at night. Suppose I'm asking here to see if this is something that other MoMs have struggled with. Of course when I was pregnant I peed all. the. time. My ob/gyn wonders if this is just a muscle memory thing or if it actually is overactive bladder. I've wondered if organs were shifted around during pregnancy or during my c/s. If you don't feel like sharing this with the world, you can pm me.

doing kegels helps, but i've noticed i need about a year of pp healing before i can even start kegels without them making the urge-to-pee feeling worse. also, i am extra vigilant about emptying my bladder whenever i feel the urge, because i don't want to end up with a bladder or kidney infection. this may not be a concern for some mamas, but i've had so many of them that i just don't want another. they are painful, uncomfortable and i can't function when i have one.
