So we have cp here-at least my 2yr old has it so far. It's amazing though. Half the people who know so far-the first thing they ask is "Isn't there a vaccine for it"? Did people forget that it used to be common? I told my mil that it wasn't around when dh and I were kids and we don't vax anyhow, so....I shouldn't be amazed, but I was when others were going on about how their kids were vaccinated etc.
When I looked up the info to refresh my memory, the vax is only 44% effective? But exposure to cp will help boost their kid's immunity is what I'm gathering. I never really read much about this one, since I don't think it's a big deal.
