Monthly water usage

Okay Sorry for all the questions lately.

Just wondering what is your familys size and what is your monthly water usage??


We are a family of 4 and our last months was 2870! which when I searched online thats less then an average family of 4. We dont conserve water ( which we should and will now) but I can think of many things I do that is pretty pathetic in terms of wasting water.

Just curious what might yours be?

Are you talking gallons? We do about 5200/mo for six of us and that's without any watering of the yard (which we hope to be starting this year, at least I hope to finally put in a garden this year!), all sharing showers (8 showers and 2-3 baths a week), a front load washer (probably 5-6 loads/wk) and low water usage dishwasher (we do a load every day)... low flow toilets also (single flushers though). We do drink a lot of water and do a lot of cooking (soaking beans, soups, etc...) and we have a zero waste reverse osmosis filter.
