I have a two week old infant in my uterus....

errrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggggg.

I will be fully 2 weeks overdue on Sunday. Yesterday they did a full biophysical profile, NST and internal exam. Conclusion? The baby is super healthy, everything is great, and I am not dialated AT ALL. Not even fingertip.

I am totally sure of my LMP because I was at an event and I had to leave to go get tampons. The date was only a day off of the official ultrasound measurement at 13 weeks. I went to 42 weeks exactly with my last, but since this is my 3rd I was kinda buying into all the hype about babies coming sooner each time...I mean hell, even 41 weeks would have been "early" for me. And on top of that I am almost non-functional due to the little monkey having been wedged deep in my SPD pelvis for the past month and a half.

I only fit in jammie pants, and all my t-shirts are too short to cover my babygut. My gait can no longer be described as a "walk" but is more of a "lumber" and I constantly imagine tuba music following me around the house. Bah.

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent.

OMG. ROTFL. The mental image is killing me. Now I'm going to imagine tuba music following me everywhere.

I hear ya mama. Although you are more past due dates than I am, I totally understand. I held out little hope of having this baby early since my other two were late as well. I hope you are holding your baby soon!

You poor thing!! At least you can have a sense of humor about it. I want to laugh and cry at the same time! You'll have a baby in your arms 'any day now'

oh, mama- you have my sympathy! while i am not two weeks overdue (i am offically die tomorrow and am in non-active labor for the last two days...), i think i would shoot someone if i was.

thank you for your post. that quoted bit up there made me laugh, and that is a gift when you are cranky like me right now.

DDC crashing here but I just had to post...

My #3 was my latest baby, at 13 days past. So much for the hype, eh?? Hang in there and try to envision that beautifully chubby baby that you will meet, so very soon!

We feel ya

my first was 17 past. My second--well who knows yet--I don't have it. We'll get there.

It means--another 6 diapers every day that I don't have to buy/change/wash
another day alone with my big kid who I want to soak in attention
another day that I get some!!
Another day of pay that I will definetly need
another day to prepare something I forgot (midwives food, car seat, yadayada)

I'm trying to see the bright side--today I will NOT BE CRANKY.
