Looking for a carrier that is easy in and out, and good for a newborn. Have an ergo and ellaroo mei hip but would like a pouch or ring sling. I wear a size 16 or 18. What do you use?

I'd suggest a Sleeping Baby Productions ring sling, especially if this is your first ring sling, because she does a nice comfy shoulder AND her prices are great to "try" a sling, i.e. if you don't end up liking it, you haven't shelled our big bucks for a sling. (I got mine for $25, a really gorgeous original Maya "SBP redo" in a deep plum color.)
I like Comfy Joey's pouches a lot, and they are on a clearance sale, so sizes are really limited.

I used a Hotslings pouch with DD for almost 2 years. It was definitely very easy to get her in and out. I liked that I could fold up the pouch to fit into my handbag. It was very easy to put on and take off (as it doesn't have anything to adjust). I didn't use it a lot when DD was a newborn (only because I have really large boobs and I felt it was just easier to hold her in my arms).

I'm also a 16/18 and I love ring slings! I have a medium Maya Wrap Lightly Padded Ring Sling that I loved when ds was a newborn, but once he got over 22lbs or so I got a linen Ring Sling (Sleeping Baby Products, Sakura Bloom) and that is sooo comfy and supportive. I have a couple in the car that I use for quick trips/errands
