My baby is grinding her teeth!

And she only has four teeth! But she's definitely grinding the longest top front tooth against the two small bottom teeth. There seems to be a small chip out of her top front tooth, but I'm not sure if this is due to grinding or not. Does anyone else's baby do this? I am so worried she will ruin her teeth. (I am a chronic grinder and sleep with a small tooth guard on my bottom teeth at night, so I am super sensitive about her teeth.) Oh no!!!!!!

Mine is grinding, too, as her top 2 have recently come in. It sounds so awful!

However, I remember my older DD doing the same when she was not much older. She is 3 and doesn't do it anymore. I think it is just experimental, and probably has nothing to do with whether or not they are teeth grinders as adults! I hope!

yeah, both my kids did this and it drives me crazy. they outgrow it. i try and just stick some kind of toy in his mouth whenever my ds starts grinding. it will pass!
