After 2 long labors, chances of short one?

So with DD I labored for 24 hrs (14 on Pit, 10 on an epi) then ended with a c-section. She was 8lbs, 3 oz at 40 weeks

DS was an attempted HB with transfer after 60 hrs (12 hrs completely dilated and 10 pushing). He was born with a vacc assist and a nasty episiotomy after less than an hr at the hospital. 8 lbs, 11 oz at 38 weeks.

I am all for having a HB again, I can handle it, I know I can. But really a labor that lasts less than say 2 days would be nice. Anyone go from having 2 really long labors to having a fast(er) one for #3+? I am not pregnant, nor do I intend to be anytime soon, but this is one thing that keeps nagging at me.

Well, dd1 was a 32+ hour labor ending with a c/s. DD2 was a 12 hour long vbac that ended with assistance and a 4th degree tear. DS was 4.5 hours from contraction to baby. Honestly, it was faster than I would have liked... it was very overwhelming and I wasn't prepared for that intensity at all. But it was fast. And I felt fine within minutes of his birth.

So it can happen!

I've had 3 and my 3rd was my longest labor, 2 days :P But I also know plenty of people who had really short labors with #3.
