Do you drink it? I find it very relaxing and couldn't imagine that there would be a problem with that, but have since read conflicting opinions. What do you think?

My doc said that recently they have found that chamomile is linked to kidney? liver? one of them any way, problems in babies.

Anyone found any reliable info on this? I have been drinking lots of chamomile tea during this pregnancy and never even thought twice about it...

a pharmacist that i trust very much, is a pharm.d. and a homeopath. he told me chammomile is fine, just don't overdo it. this goes for any herb during pregnancy, i think. it is more than a drink.

I have seen references to chamomile haveing the potential to cause uterine contractions, especially in the first trimester. I have seen other sources that say it is safe as long as you are not allergic to the ragweed family, and drinking is a a mild tea rather than therapeutic/medicinal doses. I have avoided it to be on the safe side.
