DD is just over 2.5 yo. She has been day time/nap time potty learned for several months.
Since yesterday's nap, she has had 3 accidents. She woke up from her nap wet (but not bothered...simply told me when she woke up), dribbled a little bit this afternoon while playing (was noticeably embarrassed but made it to the potty to finish), and pee-peed on the way home this evening (again, didn't seem bothered and simply told me from the back seat).
I am assuming that this regression has something to do with DH's departure (yesterday morning). He was called out of town rather suddenly and will be gone for at least 2 weeks. Often, DH's business trips are only a night or two (with a few days of notice). DD is very, very close with her Daddy. So, I know that she is missing him a lot...
...as am I!!! We do speak with him at least a couple of times a day, are keeping track of his return on her Thomas & Friends calendar, and she has a couple of pictures of him on hand.
I try not to make a big deal out of her potty accidents nor DH's absence. She has also been extra snuggly! Is there anything else that I should be doing to help her get through this period?
