Private Practice??!?!

I'm done. It was too much for me. I find it repulsive that an agenda was met.... that this episode aired the same same week that Roe vs. Wade was decided in 1973.

I missed the ending ...not sure how everything played out. What was the agenda??? Did I miss something?

I was sooo happy to freaking FINALLY see a natural birth on the show but really @#!$#%$# irritated by Mr. Midwife's behavior during the lady's labor and the abortion debate sub-plot. I thought that Naomi acted so ridiculously out-of-character that it was hardly believeable.

You know, I've stuck with Grey's and PP for a long time but I really think I'm through. I don't know why I keep watching shows that I end up steaming mad after. Not good entertainment.

I was very put-off by this episode as well. Naomi's reaction was so dissapointing, and I really felt like they were trying to push an agenda (that those who are "pro-life" only feel that way when it's not them/their child - that it's just an abstract belief).

I came to this forum just to post about this!!

I was absolutely floored that a woman gave birth naturally on this show. As soon as she showed up all I could think was "I wonder why she's going to end up rushed to the hospital for an emergency c-section because obviously on this show it's not going to end any other way."

Honestly though, I have no idea why I even continued to watch after the vaccine episode.

I was going to say this.

Ditto to that one.

I started hating it after the vaccine episode, and stopped watching after del did his first birth. With a VACUME EXTRACTOR!! This is supposed to be a midwife? this looks NOTHING like a midwife attended birth, for goodness sakes.

I used to love this show, but I got very very sick of their very thick medicalist agendas.
