I'm participating in "olympics" at my lys. Each of us has to knit/crochet a dishcloth to serve as our flag at the opening/closing ceremonies. It is supposed to represent where we live.
I hate dishcloths and have been looking at patterns for hours.
I live in Missouri, used to live in Colorado, but am thinking of doing a very loose interpretation of the meaning of where I live. I used to live near the Sand Dunes in colorado, so was thinking of doing a cable stitch called waves of sand. Totally wrong for a cloth. Then I tried a lace pattern called fish scales or something b/c we have a lot of lakes and rivers. . . that wasn't right either.
Any ideas? And just to add fuel to the fire, my printer is broken so if I want to start tonight I either have to sit in front of the computer or write the whole pattern out. . . which is why I am shying away from a k/p panel.
Such a boring post.
