is each item worth $2.28 to you? Because that is about what you paid for each item. Sure, that is a lot for a prefold, but that is a really good price for some wool longies, right?

I think its a great deal for dipes in great shape & wool! How awsome!

GREAT deal-lucky you!

Well, just the BGs would have cost you that, Nikky covers run $14 each, loveybums $26, I would guess you have AT LEAST $250 worth of covers including the wool--I think you got an amazing deal. Has someone been telling you you got ripped off?

Well sort of. Someone said they use all prefolds and covers only and they haven't spent nearly that much for newborn - toddler diapers. I really love the BG's - they are in amazing shape. Plus I like the variety. I think I jsut have to be happy with what I got and not think about what other people say.

Thanks for the opinions though! $185 is a lot of money for us and I'm glad I didn't waste it.

Sure, prefolds and covers aren't as expensive. But you didn't buy just prefolds and covers, so it's not a fair comparison.

I think you got a great deal, and when you're done with it, you can sell the stash and get some of your money back!

I have to say that is a complete stash that will last you until or thru potty learning... for $185! Awesome, and you are saving soooo much money compared to using sposies. Congrats!

You got a VERY good deal.

Prefolds and PUL covers are almost the least expensive you can go when CDing (Flats and nylon pull on covers would be about the cheapest). I may have miscounted, but I got 44 diapers in what you've bought. When you figure that prefolds average around $2 each (less for infant, more for premium), that's $88 right there, NOT including covers. While prowraps (being one of the cheaper PUL covers) average $7 each, you'd have to buy at least 2 sizes to get from birth to out of diapers, more than likely 3, but we'll be conservative. Figure most people would recommend at least 5 covers per size (again being conservative), so that's 10 covers at $7 each so $70 for covers total. That brings the total to $158, for what you would have spent on prefolds and covers alone, to have as many diapers as you've bought.

And you got a much better stash than just prefolds and covers for your $30 more than what you could have spent on just prefolds and covers.
