I'm leaning towards purchasing a birth pool WITH a disposable liner. When I inquired about renting prices, they weren't that much less than what I could purchase one for. Do you ladies think that I will be able to sell my pool after I use it? It states that it is for personal use, but then 'advertises' that as many as ten births can occur in it!? Just would love to get feedback.

We rented one for our first birth. It was $300 and he brought it, set it up, filled it, did the chemicals, and then emptied it, cleaned it and took it away. It was really nice to basically do nothing with it except check the pH.
This time we plan to buy as it is much cheaper and we'll have it for future babies. My husband does not want to clean it up, and my mom volunteered, but to make it easier, we are getting a liner and also a siphon hose to remove the water.
You will be able to sell it - there are probably plenty of mamas on here who would buy it from you.

We just bought a kiddy pool..... it was much cheaper, and I even cut out one of the fish decals and put it in my sons scrapbook!
It was roomy enough for me and DH (6 ft 3 280 lbs!) and the water covered my belly so I definitely felt less pressure. It was a perfect experience, and I cant wait to buy the kiddy pool again this time around!
Oh, and I should mention the pool I got was like, $20 at Target!

And if you sell it, people will be eager to buy, I bet.
