Going very low-carb, TF style

How do I do it? What would be "good" carbs to keep? I just got Dx w/ PCOS, and the Dr. recommended going carb-free or very low-carb to try & lose some weight. I have a lot of whole grains here that I use to grind my own flours. Is there a way to still use them?

Any other foods that would be good for me? Any other ideas?

TIA!

If you are doing VLC then no you really cannot do grains. Your carbs should come from non-starchy veggies - greens- serve them up TF style do some fermnted and make sure you have lots of good fat w/ them animal fat or other good fat.

I suggest you check out the grain-free thread. Grain free/sugar free was the only way I was able to get my PCOS under control. And by doing that I was able to get pg without intervention (obviously not a concern for you, but we'd been trying for 3 years).
