Can I de-gluten glass jars?

I have a bunch of pretty glass jars that once contained wheat flour. Is it possible to wash them really well and use them to hold GF things? I don't want to be paying more for the GF and then cross contaminating at home!

I would assume so. Glass isn't pourous so it wouldn't hold onto anything. If it was pourous it wouldn't be safe to store breastmilk in because some would always be left behind and it would spoil.

Glass is fine, a normal washing should do it.
