Dancing movies? (Shirley Temple, Fred Astaire, etc) - Page 2

What about Mad Hot Ballroom? She might really like that it's all about kids.

Here's what Wikipedia says about it:

"Mad Hot Ballroom is a documentary film by director Marilyn Agrelo and writer/producer Amy Sewell about a ballroom dance program in the New York City Public School system..."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Hot_Ballroom

Or what about a videotaped production of The Nutcracker?

Or Cats? My youngest daughter when through a HEAVY "Cats" obsession a couple of years ago. Lots of singing and dancing, and great makeup.

Oh Mad Hot Ballroom sounds perfect! I had forgotten about that movie. I remember that it looked cute when it came out.

And she loooooooves the Nutcracker. That's what started this whole dancing thing. I can't tell you how many times I've seen it... I'm so sick of it! I finally shelled out for the Macauly Caulkin version on iTunes, because the free version on Hulu.com was creepy.

Holiday Inn is one of my faves, especially the firecracker scene.

We watched all those oldies when I was young and I loved them over just about anything else. Give me some great dance sequences and some catchy songs and I was a happy camper

Take The Lead, is great, for a contemporary dance flick
