that as of today, I only have one kiddo in diapers and I no longer have to do diaper laundry every single stinking day. (no pun intended...hahahaha)

We had a potty party today for ds1. He taught his boy doll how to put on "chones" (underwear in spanish), go pee, wipe, etc. Then he agreed to put on his own chones and we spent all day going pee and getting all excited and having treats and games and surprises, etc. Holy cow, I'm tired.

I think we had as many misses as we did victories, but there's no going back to diapers now.

Even though I may not need to wash diapers daily anymore, I'm thinking I'll be doing more laundry anyway! Anyway, I'm so excited to be back to one in diapers again. And he's still ebf, so washing will be so easy. Yay!

That's awesome mama!

My youngest is really enthusiastic about sitting on the potty, but so far she's only pooped in it once. I'd LOVE to have her totally out of diapers by the time the new baby comes, but I honestly don't think she's physically ready; I'd almost rather skip the possibility of regression and accidents when the new baby comes, rather than have her out of diapers before.

That's exactly what happened with ds1. All summer he was doing great. No pressure. I'd leave him naked a lot and he'd go pee and poop in his potty. NOt all the time, but frequently. Then ds2 was born in August and wammo. He asked for diapers and always said no! to sitting on his potty.

Anyway - can you believe it? Poor kid got the flu last night!!! So now he's puking, feels like crap and has diahhrea, too. Just not fair for a poor little kid just trying to figure out how to get to the toilet, hold it, etc. He's sleeping now, thank goodness.

So now I've got puke laundry and accident laundry. But at least I still can go to washing diapers every 2 or 3 days now.
