Esquire magazine Feb 2010

My husband gets Esquire. It's one of my favourite reads. Informative, some really, really wonderful, well written articles, it's irreverent at times with a great sense of humour + recipes

February's issue arrived a week or so ago and I found in it's 'sex advice' column, a question about whether or not a couple who disagree about circing their unborn son, should do it.

My heart kind of sank. I'm never quite sure how these things will play out in a mainstream media publication. The cartoon alone worried me.

Esquire Feb 2010

I think they did ok. Their demographic is the 25 to mid 40's age group, their circulation around 3/4 of a million.

Maybe a few more guys (and girls) have something to think about?

I liked the article. I love the admission that it basically comes down to tribal custom.

I love the last sentence

If it ever comes up, simply tell your son he's more than welcome to get circumcised when he has a job and can pay for it with his own money.
