We are so happy to welcome a beautiful baby boy to our family. He was born this morning at 4:53, daddy caught him and pulled him from the water. I wanted to thank you all for the ELV's. I really needed them. It was about 12 hours start to finish. I will write more later, but I am really weak right now, I lost a lot of blood and am hoping that the heavy bleeding will slow down soon. We haven't gotten a weight check done yet, but I'm thinking he's in the 8.5 lb range. He is really tired too, which has been a godsend because I can barely walk 10 feet to the bathroom without blood pressure issues.
Keeping all of you who have little ones and ones on the way in my thoughts and prayers.
ETA: Before I forget, I talked to DH this morning about how baby came out and I found out that all that discomfort in my back (aka back labor LOL) and short contractions were for a reason. He came out posterior. WOOT WOOT. I can't believe all that work to not lean back and sitting on a birth ball 24/7, crawling around, lunging and he still came out sunny side up. I am amazed right now. I feel like a warrior. I birthed a 9lb posterior babe!
