Hey all! I am joining the club, I think.

I have had four faint BFP over the past four days. Not exactly sure when conception occurred as I thought I has AF last week. I did have a chemical/ early miscarriage in November, so I am still feeling reserved about the whole thing.

My sense of smell and nausea are really increasing. I am somewhat crampy and sensitive down there. I am still BF my 19month old DD, so I haven't noticed much change in my breasts, though I think my nipples are more sensitive.

I am hoping to have a blood test done today or tomorrow, it all depends on if I can find someone to watch the kiddos while I go. Otherwise, I may need to figure out if it is possible to bring them with me.

Welcome Jazzmin!

Lindzies~ I'd be mad too! It's a good thing I have my babies at home. I think I'd end up in jail if I had to deal with a drs office!

xekomaya~LOL! I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I really hate it when I'm like that. It's like I don't even realize how irrational I'm being til it's all over and I've made a big scene!

Just finishing up school with the kiddos. I told them. I wasn't going to for a while, but I couldn't help it. It's all I think about. DS6 and DD4 are pretty excited. The baby (2) I'm sure doesn't get it and I'll tell my 12 year old ds soon. I'm trying to think of a fun way to tell him. He lives in another state with his dad. (Yes it sucks, and no I'm not unfit!) Anyway...I think he'll be excited, but I want to find a really fun way to tell him.

One more thing...headaches. Anyone else have just a dull headache all the time when pg? When I started getting these a few days ago I remembered getting them with my other pregnancies. They are miserable.

Ohhhh boobs. Before DD, I was a 36-barely-A. During my pregnancy with her, I went to about a 38C...not too bad. I was a 38DD with nursing, and only in the last 2-3 months have "the girls" noticeably shrunk (and DD is still nursing!). With pg #2...I'm sure they'll perk right back up

My early symptom from last time is back again: burping (ick!) every few minutes. So early?!?!?
I do the burping too and it makes me gassy... sigh oh the joys
post #25 of 41
I just noticed an increase in burping too. It is so bad, even my kids have noticed :
Sorry that you ladies also experience the burping, but I'm glad to know I'm not alone in it! DH thinks it's mental -- I know it's not!

So...I've had kids throwing up for the past three nights! It's so not fun at this stage of the game. Not that it ever is, but especially not now!! We're taking the day off school and being lazy. I'm ready for a lazy day!

So I love all the new mamas! I can't wait to see our whole group. We already have quite a bunch of us for the first part of October.

I called my mw yesterday just to make sure that she can take me. I won't see her for a couple months probably, but with the slight chance that my dh will miss the delivery, I wanted to make sure she would be here for my delivery. I trust her and can't imagine delivering with anyone else. She said that she would definately take me again, so that's a relief and one less thing to worry about.

That's great news about your midwife, AmBam, but so sorry to hear about your kiddos being sick!

I've been wondering -- I have my OB connection and my hospital-based midwives, but at what point do I start interviewing homebirth midwives, since we're considering that route? We only have ~3 in the area.

Lindzies - I keep forgetting to ask what the reaction from KD was like.

I can't figure out why I feel so great in the morning but around 2:00 pm I hit a wall and if I eat, I puke. It's so frustrating and I am SO sick of eating saltines and other "white" foods. The stomach cramping when I eat other food is just awful. Do you suppose that I'm having really intense hormone surges in the afternoon? This is so hard.

ETA: MDC isn't helping the nausea with all those pictures of messed up teeth, either!

I would interview sooner rather than later. That way whoever you choose will be able to get you on the schedule. I didn't have a mw til 28 weeks with my last baby and it was a little stressful for me.

Definitely great news about the midwife, Amber. I heard back from one that I am interested in, and she said she could take me, too. I think DP and I will schedule a consult very soon.

prettyuglybefore - KD was super psyched. Especially since his girlfriend is currently interviewing at many out-of-state schools for grad school, and moving is a very real possibility. He said "I told (gf) that my work in Philly is done, so now we can move if we need to." He is really the sweetest. We are so lucky.

Oh, and I definitely hit a wall, too!

AFM - today had repeat beta draw. Hopefully I'll have good doubling time! I think we're looking for a number around 180-ish or higher.

Also, I've noticed that drinking TONS of water (as I think another mama mentioned) has really helped w/ any abdominal cramping.

Oh, and today is the official due date of AF. Something scary about this day... but I know I am pregnancy, and I will get through today (and subsequent days).

P.S. I love our DDC mamas, too.

Went to the Dr. for a blood draw- it was positive. I was hoping for a quantitative test, I thought that was what the nurse ordered after telling her about my bleeding and my confusion. Oh well, my symptoms are getting stronger which is very reassuring.

I am going to have to find a MW. I had one that I loved, but we moved, so I am going to have to do some interviews. I know one personally that does HB, but appts. are in her home and that is a 40 min. drive. I am hoping to find a MW that will come to my home and that is really hands off.

Lindsay -- can't wait to hear about your beta! I have my repeat draw tomorrow and have my fingers and toes crossed.

I know what you mean about AF...I have to pee all.the.time but hate going because I'm afraid that I might see something red when I wipe! Does this feeling go away? I know I was neurotic with #1, but this is really stressing me out!

My period is officially one week late today - just thought I would share

:-)

Man, are my boobs sore! They are huge and sore! I'm just 3w6d today. How long is this supposed to last? I took my bra off when I was getting ready for bed, and I sneezed. That didn't feel good at all! Thanks for letting me complain a little.

I really hope so. I'm starting to feel a little OCD w/ all the "checking." Lol!

I am 4w2d and my boobs are swollen and sore, too. I can't imagine that they're actually going to get even BIGGER!

AFM - I get my second beta results today... I'm hoping for a 180 or better, which would indicate doubling time of about 48 hours. for good news this afternoon! I feel like numbers showing good doubling time, and progesterone that stays high will finally be enough to make me relax a bit and embrace this pregnancy a bit more!

I am 4w 4d and I have grown at least one cup size possibly too. Dh is very happy about that. I think my milk supply has cut a little more I think I am going to go buy some mothers milk tea today.
Took my last pregnancy test today lol. Its a digital and it didnt even take it a minute to come up as pregnant!
DS is starting to sleep alot better at night... maybe its because I am sleeping alot deeper. maybe its me that has been waking him up who knows but I am loving the sleep!

Morning girls! I have the third child puking this morning. I swear it is never ending!

I'm hoping your numbers are GREAT!!

I told my 12 yo ds last night. He's pretty excited. I usually don't tell anyone this early, but this is my last, so I don't care who knows and when!!

I am the opposite. This is our last so I don't want to tell as we won't have this secret again. I plan to fully enjoy every moment. I am sure I will have to remind myself to enjoy it once I start feeling sick.

Cat, I am enjoying sleep too! I seem to go right into deep sleep as soon as I hit the covers. I am also having CRAZY dreams, but they have not disturbed my restfulness.

I e-mailed some MW today! I hope, hope, hope, I find one that will come to me. Two are not in the same town as me and I don't really want to drive very far for prenatala.
